Kerala Information Commission has ordered to make public the enquiry commission report on Muringur Devine Retreat Centre .The report of the enquiry on more than 900 unnatural deaths in the Divine centre was submitted to the high court of Kerala .The enquiry was conducted by a team led by Inspector General Vincent MPaul.

The state police has argued that the reportis of secret nature, hence cannot be made public. But the Division Bench consisting of Palat Mohandas and PN Vijayakumar has rejected this and asked them to hand over the copy of the report to the RTI applicant within 15 days. Advocate D B Binu had filed the application to receive details of investigation report.

The investigation held in Muringoor Conversion Centre is based on Human Right Violation , If the investigation is with respect to Corruption or Human Right Violation, investigation agencies or Government cannot with held it from the applicant as per provisions in Right to Information .
The powerful Church was able to jeopardize the investigation ordered by Kerala High Court by appealing in Supreme Court. Supreme Court ordered the suspension of investigation citing that High court ordered the investigation based on letter send by unknown person.

Just as witnessed in the case of Love Jihad, Then also Pinarai Vijayan and Congress leaders voices were united in supporting the Conversion cum Murder Centre.CPM leader Pinarai Vijayan had even given a certificate to the centre  “Even with Healing practices, Diseases can be cured and in this place they are involved in Humanitarian activities”!
