Hindu youth’s murder – Life Sentence to 7 and RI to 9 Jihadi’s

KOZHIKODE: The Marad Special Court judge K P Prasanna Kumari today awarded life sentence for seven of the 16 Jihadi terrorists found guilty in connection with the murder of Hindu youth.

A fine of Rs 25,000 has also been slapped on the accused .he remaining nine will have to undergo five years rigorous imprisonment and a fine of Rs 18,000 has been imposed on them. The court ordered to pay Rs 200,000 from the fine amount to the mother of Shimjith.

Thekkethodi Shimjith was murdered on January 3 in 2002 by Jihadi terrorists on January 3 in 2002.In both First and second Maradu killings total 10 Hindus lost their life to Jihadi swords in this fishing village in Kozhikode.
