Nagpur, Feb 27: To attract the attention of all the democratic forces towards the state-sponsored terrorism and violence unleashed against the RSS swayamsevaks in particular and against all their opponents in general, by the Marxist Communists, the RSS is planning a nationwide protest on March 1, 2017.

Informing this at a press conference at Nagpur on Sunday, RSS All India Sah-Prachar Pramukh J Nandakumar said that this national-level protest is aimed at exposing the Marxist Communists and their government under Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

Addressing the press conference with a ‘heavy heart’ Nandakumar, who also hail from the ‘God’s own Country’, said that the Marxist goons have unleashed their violent attacks against RSS and Sangh Parivar activists killing 12 of them in just 6 months. Besides, they also decimated 6 other opponents, some of them belonging to the Communist Party of India (CPI), he added.

“Whenever the Marxist came to power in Kerala, the attacks against RSS and others increased”, he explained further.  This has been the history of last 70 years, he said adding that in the last eight months 12 RSS activists were done to death in the cruelest manner by the Marxists.

The RSS leader said that the state police are also working under the direction of the State Chief Minister P Vijayan who also holds the Home portfolio, and refused to provide protection to RSS activists against these attacks. “Under the Communist Rule, the police are behaving like a trade union organisation”, he added.

The March 1 protest is also aimed at exposing this state sponsored terrorism and fascist ways of the LDF Government in the state; he said, adding that the protests would be organised at every Prant Headquarters in addition to some other prominent places. Altogether, the protest would be held at around 150 places in the country on the same day.

Kerala, the ‘God’s Own Country’ is fast converting to ‘Demon’s Own Country’, Nandakumar quipped giving details of the criminal statistics of the past 8 months. He said, in the past 8 months 1.75 lakh criminal cases have been registered in the state, 18 political murders have taken place, 11000 cases of sexual harassment were registered including kidnapping and molesting a noted actress, 630 minor girls have been molested, 3200 cases of physical assaults, 7200 cases under Dalit atrocity and 4200 drug related cases have been registered in last 8 months in the state. Thus, Kerala is fast emerging as a crime capital of the country, he said.

Many Dalit organisations have come forward to protest the rising anti-Dalit crimes in the state.

Tracing the history of bloody attacks by the Marxists against RSS activists, Nandakumar recalled how on January 28, 1948, they attacked an RSS program being addressed by the then Sarsanghchalak the Late Sri Golwalkar Guruji. During 1969, there was a renewed attack on RSS workers in Telicherry. Even they are not sparing children and elderly people and even their pets, he added.

He said that a delegation of RSS met the Union Minister of State for Home Hansraj Ahir and discussed with him the situation in Kerala. The Minister promised us proper action in this regard, he said. He added that the Home Minister had visited Kerala and the Ministry has sought the Governor’s report on the situation. Even the National Human Rights Commission has sought the reports on Kerala killings, he said.

Referring to the existence of ‘party villages’ in Kerala, Nandkumar said that such villages are a blot on democracy where the Marxist writ rules and nothing can stop them. Nothing moves in these villages without their permission, and there are many such villages in Kerala, he added.
