#InTolerantCPM – RSS Karyalaya Under Attack

Kalady: There has been a CPM attack on RSS Karyalaya (Hedgewar Bhavan) of Kalady, in the wee morning hours of Saturday. According to sources, a seven member gang of Marxist hooligans barged into the Karyalaya premises, destroyed doors and windows and razed the roofing. The goons partially destroyed the statuette of Sree Shankaracharya and spewed about the photos that adorned the wall. The attack was after SFI rioters unleashed a spate of attack on ABVP activists and grievously wounded one of them, Jishnu.

According to reports, Jishnu, who was on his way home after college hours was cudgeled on his head by a gang of Marxist marauders headed by CPM area committee secretary in Mattoor junction. The attack on Karyalaya followed this. “There were flex boards in the Karyalaya premises, meant for ABVP state meeting and Kummanam Rajashekharan’s Vimochana Yatra. There were a couple of saffron flags too. All these were destroyed. They poured petrol over these and set them ablaze,” said sources.
