Post of ‘Promoters’: Exclusive Vacancies for the Muslim Community, in Thousands
Couple of weeks ago – HK , reported about the dubious designs of Muslim League to Islamise the state by employing ‘Minority Promoters’ by looting Tax payers money from state exchequer.
Better late than never, few other Mainstream medias also reported about this discriminatory move by UDF government. This latest decree issued by the 5th Minister Manjalamkuzhi Ali is now turning controversial.
On top of appointing Minority members in all top post of Ministries ruled by Muslim league , Government is now going to employ these ‘Minority Promoters’.
Awareness camps all over the state are being conducted, as part of this drive.
As per the Government notification, promoters are being appointed for a special reason: to create awareness that even though the central and state government have created many schemes for the benefit of those from minority section who are not financially sound, they do not reach them.
Reports say that the promoters will be paid a monthly salary of Rs. 4000. Their educational qualification must be a minimum of SSLC pass. The government has even used the term ‘honourarium’ for the purpose. And for the payment purpose of promoters alone, over Rs 5 crore will be spent every year.
The minority awareness camps will be created in panchayat levels, by Muslim NGO’s , Mosque Commitees and Jammath’s and for that they will receive Rs 5000 for each camp! Although Christians are also Minorities , there is no mention about involving churches or Christian NGO’s in this scheme! The government will now set aside half a crore for the awareness camps alone, on a monthly basis.
Even though reports suggest that the promoters will be selected on the basis of merit, via interviews, the entire fiasco is likely to be just eyewash. Sources have even said that the list of promoters has even been decided.
Already allegations are being heaped on the government for catering only to Muslim interests, when it comes to minority affairs.
