All these years, we were looting this state in name of minority votes, we were snatching the food from the mouth of the poorest of the poor. There LDF & UDF put christian candidates & BJP put O Rajagopal. Though Rajagopal got 6 times more votes than earlier votes, the Congress candidate won. This board says thanks to the voters (brotherens) in Neyyattinkara for throwing out NSS & SNDP leaders

It says "Congratulations to the brethren from Neyyattinkara who thrashed the arrogance of Vellappally & NSS". Neyyattinkara is a constituency in Thiruvananthapuram where bye election was held recently. 'Vellappally' Natesan, leader of SNDP & the NSS (NSS & SNDP are two of the most influential caste based Hindu organizations in Kerala) had indirectly given support to the BJP candidate O. Rajagopal, who managed to get over 30,000 votes (in the previous election BJP bagged only one fifth of this!) although he came third. Both the other candidates, of the Congress & the CPI(M) were Christians from the Nadar community.

There are two organizations called NSS and SNDP working among the two major Hindu castes in Kerala. Because of their differences in views regarding cast based reservations, all these years these two were fighting each other defeating all the efforts towards a Hindu unity. Needless to say, the communal organizations, Congress and Communists were making use of this situation and always did everything they could to increase this divide. That is one of the main reasons why BJP is still unable to open it's account in Kerala. In the beginning of this month there was a by-election to one seat which was vacated by a communist MLA who is a Christian who jumped to Congress. Because of the ongoing blatant communal appeasement, Hindus of Kerala are fed up to the core. And it was supposed to reflect in this election in which BJP national leader Sri O Rajagopal was the candidate. Because of the reluctance of NSS and SNDP in wholeheartedly supporting the Hindu cause, in-spite of putting all the efforts BJP came only in third position. But indeed these organizations had expressed their concerns about the growing hold of Christian and Muslim fanaticism in Kerala politics. They were trying to play 'soft' Hindutva which readily got them the ire of Christian and Muslim fanatics. But that 'soft' Hindutva didn't get them any result. So now in the above poster you can one Muslim organization chiding both of them saying, the voters of Neyyattinkara taught them a lesson (by not getting influenced by their soft Hinduism) The translation "Congratulations to those brothers in Neyyattinkara (name of the constituency) who demolished the pride of Vellappalli (leader of SNDP) and NSS" The latest news says that, NSS and SNDP are trying to come closer leaving aside their differences. But we need to see how long and how effectively they stick to this.
