Congress leader V.T. Balram, MLA, landed himself in another controversy with his Facebook post on education minister Abdu Rabb.

The issue in question was the education minister’s choice of a fresh name for his official residence. Abdu Rabb had reportedly refused to live in ‘Ganga,’ the official house allotted to him and Rabb had renamed the house as ‘Grace’ before moving in.

Balram on Facebook, posted Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru’s comment: “Ganga is the liquid history of India”. He went on to say that there was nothing dis ‘grace’ful about Ganga.

The comment evoked several responses and comments flooded in, both supporting and criticising Balram’s comment. Many flayed Balram for making such a remark against a Muslim League minister. “Why make a big issue on renaming a house.

You should promote his achievements as minister for education,” posted Sudheer Menon. Another person, Najeeb Hassan posted: “This is an unfortunate controversy; we should give Balram a pat for upholding the secularism of our country rather than criticising him.”

“I was commenting on the acceptability of renaming a house. There should be strong objections to a current name before making a change. Since there were no such objections, I thought changing the name from Ganga to Grace was inappropriate,” the social media savvy Balram said.

“The right to expression is something valuable but giving a religious connotation to my comment is something unacceptable and unfortunate,” the MLA told Deccan Chronicle.

Apart from eating meat and barb he doesn't even bother to read little bit of history. Unlike other some of the great muslim leader this so called "minister" brought absolute shame to keralite. He must be deported to some remote island where no humanity exists.

If he is so Islamic minded then he should wear an Arab dress and headgear and wander in Kerala on top of a camel. If you are Islamic you should be 100% like Taliban in dress and habits. No 50 50.

Recently, the Calicut University allowed ten colleges affiliated it to rise the total number of seats in respect of various Graduate/PG courses, of which nine colleges managed/controlled by muslims, the other college being Zamorin's Guruvayurappan College. Islam is essentially a criminal ideology.Its so-called theology/philosophy can be read down to - 'Kill or get killed and you will get rewards in heaven'. See the Gutter Minister Kunhali Kutty and his dirtiest public life. The person who shake his hands should wash his hands in anti septic lotions thrice. But they could buy success with their ill gotten money. Why Communists could not destroy this kind of politician ? Then how can they destroy those who are better than them in public life, values and ideologies ? Its wise that he changed the name of his official residence, which is a pious name of "Ganga", this name must have turned filthy, otherwise. This minister's social ground was Manamchira of Calicut. Their day time "halal" become the night time "haram".
